They just need to have the gasket and be tight. I know that, but these leaked the first time I put them on the way they were supposed to (no tape, no seal, only gasket) . I think those are made of Poly, I will look for some heavier duty PVC ones. Apparently these cant handle 325gal of water.. Thanks
