WebAug 26, 2024 · If you bake the result and then use Rhino's "Join 2 naked edges" function to carefully select each naked edge you can join them together. The Rhino join command will tell you that it has to use a tolerance of 0.0172909. Accepting that joins the naked edge pairs and this should give you a 'solid" result. WebNov 22, 2015 · When a pattern of lines is in a box and is to be used as a box morph to cover a surface, it is important that the lines hit the same point on the faces of the box on each side so that they will join up. Without this they will not join at all. It is also important that the lines hit the faces at the same angle, so that they will join up smoothly. WebAug 14, 2024 · The curve is guaranteed to lie, within the absolute tolerance, on each of the two surfaces. Try the Intersect command and save the resulting curve off to one side. Then add a zero to the tolerance setting and run Intersect again. Now turn on the control points for both curves.

Any idea whether they can efficiently be joined based on proximity or whether this should be done based on tree data structure?
WebSep 3, 2013 · Is there a way to set the tolerance in Grasshopper? Maybe it could take the tolerance from the Rhino Tolerance. I'm getting numbers like -2.0178e-12, should be able to set tolerance to like 0.0001 or 0.001, or whatever, or else it takes tolerance from Rhino model? Maybe it's already done somewhere & I just cannot find it. WebWombat for GH is an open source series of miscellaneous utilities aimed at improving modeling processes by streamlining common tasks.
