WebThe Tamron lenses I own and have used are optically excellent. Some have less than optimum AF speed. For instance my Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 appears to have AF on par with AF zooms from 15+ years ago: it's pretty slow. For me this isn't a big deal, as I tend to manually focus with this lens anyway.
