Web16 jun. 2024 · Honestly the Ventum felt 5 lbs lighter than the Mathews. Smoother to me, but I prefer a linear draw cycle and 80% over 85% let-off to start with. This is the largest difference between the two bows IMO. Hold: Tie, both hold very well. Web18 nov. 2024 · The grip size, angle and shape all worked toward comfort and utility while the bow readily steadied at full draw. There was no fight necessary to keep it locked on target. There was a small bump in the handle at the shot with almost no detectable vibration. Overall, I had a very pleasant shooting experience.
Web5 feb. 2024 · I almost bought a second AU used off here, but after the shooting the 33 at 28” it’s a lot faster then the AU at 28” because of the new mods so I ordered a 60lb wilderness green which should be a nice comfortable pull on those cold November mornings. Web30 jul. 2024 · The Ventum 33 is pleasant to shoot. It draws nice, holds nice, and it doesn’t thump your hand at the shot. From my perspective, that’s a step up for Hoyt. I haven’t always liked the Hoyt shooting experience. I did with the Ventum 33. It’s also accurate and put arrows where I wanted them to hit without much effort. Where the Hoyt Was Lacking
Web17 feb. 2024 · The weight of this bow didn’t feel heavy or light at 4.5 lbs, but it is a 33” ATA bow. The weight does help with stability and sound. DRAW CYCLE PSE has the Evolve cam that is super smooth to draw. 70lbs felt more like 65 at 80% let-off with no hump and a very small valley. The back wall is perfect, not too solid, and not too spongy.
