Differentiate the heck out of it – length, research requirements, topic. You can use them with any age student and make it as rigorous as you want. WebRAFT stands for Role, Audience, Format, and Topic. With the RAFT writing strategy students are given a role in a real-life writing topic, a specific audience, a pre-defined format, and a specific topic.
