There is some degree of old school metal haters that hate on deathcore simply because it's deathcore, but a lot of those guys also recognize when deathcore is actually done well and don't have a problem with listening to it. WebDeathcore mainly uses showy vocals for their breakdowns, which is also more frequent than other subgenres. Hardcore and death metal also have breakdowns but don’t rely on them and can easily sound good with just non-vocal instruments. Deathcore also often relies on post-production, which the other two don’t really need.
